In most awards shows, the vast world of comedy is typically snubbed by the pretentious ballot holders' aversion of progressive humor. To recognize those who are continuously neglected, Comedy Central created Comedy Awards. The ceremony satirically mocked the glamorized events of gratification with a surprising guest list of notable names. Rather than providing weeps of self-praise, the disorderly presenters and winners cynically bashed their institution's highest honors.

What's an awards show without musical performances? Finally, we weren't forced to listen to Bette Midler and Celine Dion's latest sonic endeavors. Instead, The Lonely Island performed their viral masterpiece with Akon, "I Just Had Sex", and Charlie Sheen received a sonic warning from his former, sitcom associate, Jon Cryer.
