Not everyone can drop a certified gold album, reveal that they're pregnant, and co-host The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon
all in the same week, but Cardi B
Last night, Cardi B made history by being the first person to ever co-host the Tonight Show, and she did not disappoint. She talked about her album, explained her many catch phrases (including the one that sounds like a sad pigeon), and even told John Mulaney that he looked like a Pet Shop Boy, which is true.
She also revealed her pregnancy on Saturday Night Live
by performing "Be Careful" in a white dress to show her baby bump.
And last Friday, her highly anticipated debut album Invasion of Privacy
dropped to many dropped jaws. Critics everywhere raved while Pitchfork named it "Best New Music." "Be Careful" and "I Like It" as pop and R&B songs showcase her versatility as an artist and have already gathered around 11 million streams each on Spotify respectively.
Basically, Cardi B ain't stoppin' anytime soon and we all better get used to it.
