Relating music to the weather can be corny, but there's simply no getting around it when listening to Bantu
's new track, "Roll With Me." Along with the cover art which seeps shades of orange and yellow, the music is just so warm,
and now that the temperature is slowly rising here in Brooklyn, we are ready for the summer jams.
Originally hailing from Zimbabwe, Bantu is now based in Los Angeles, and we can hear the geographic influence in his music. Fun female vocals pop in and out as his deep vocal adds a nice dynamic. It's vibrant and fun, and the infectious rhythm is sure to get you moving immediately.
Bantu told Baeble about the track, "'Roll With Me' was inspired by the music I grew up listening to in Zimbabwe. There's a 'call and response' thing throughout the song which is really African and exciting to me. I thought it would be cool to get a girl's point of view in the chorus, but have me respond and explain myself the rest of the time. The song is super fun and playful and I think a lot of people are gonna connect with the sound and the lyrics!"
