Scottish trio The Fratellis are back next week, with the release of their fifth album In Your Own Sweet Time scheduled for March 16th. The return of the 00s indie-rock darlings cast our minds all the way back to the halcyon days of 2015, when frontman Jon Fratelli stopped by Baeble HQ for a soulful performance of some new material.

Without his bandmates, Fratelli delivered intense performances of two tracks from the group's fourth album Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied, and stuck around for a little interview with Baeble as well. Treating us to pared-down renditions of "Imposters (Little by Little) " and "Me and the Devil", Fratelli showed us his talent in its rawest form - just him and his acoustic guitar on a sunny fall afternoon. You might be more used to seeing The Fratellis delivering raucous garage rock to a sweaty crowd, but this stripped-back session offers a fresh way to experience the band.

The Fratellis (hopefully all three of them this time) will be embarking on a North American tour in April and May of this year, stopping in New York City on May 16th for a show at Brooklyn Steel.
