The Launch Pad-Austin 2013: Meet On An On

Every day leading up to our party down in Austin (The Launch Pad) we'll be introducing you the bands set to perform at the Knuckle Rumbler Lounge.

On An On, comprised of three members of Scattered Trees, are melodic rockers with gentle hearts. Their debut album, Give In, is uplifting and addictive, with thoughtful lyrics weaving through layers of jangly drums, slow-motion guitar, and dreamy synths. Their live show will knock your woofer-loving socks off, and just might cause you to lift clean off the ground in a groovy head-space of galactic harmonies (see our coverage of their recent Brooklyn show here).

Who are they? Nate Eiesland, Alissa Ricci, and Ryne Estwing

What do they sound like? First of all, Scattered Trees. Aside from that, their sound ranges from a guitar-focused Death Cab For Cutie with a better singer and more bass to an electrocuted Sigur Ros invaded by heartbroken robots.

RSVP to The Launch Pad here.

Check out the music video for their debut single, "Ghosts":
