Last night, alt-pop trio
Jukebox The Ghost stopped by Industry City in Brooklyn, New York to serenade their biggest fans during Baeble's first Bands + Brews of the season. For those who don't know, Bands + Brews is a concert series we host every summer. In the past we've had musical guests like
Marian Hill,
Arkells... Oh, and we've actually had Jukebox The Ghost for a rowdy session back
in 2014, so it was great to have them back. The timing couldn't be any more perfect too, because the gig took place just one day before their album,
Off To The Races, out today.
Since it's technically only spring, we decided to host the first B+B at Industry City's very own Hygge Haus, aka a stunningly lit and very warm tent located in the center of their courtyard. It was the perfect atmosphere for what was already an intimate, acoustic show (well it was technically acoustic, but Jukebox's drummer Jesse Kristin still killed it on the shaker). Fans started grooving in their seats as the group performed killer cuts off the new album like "Everybody's Lonely" and "Fred Astaire," and with mostly just guitar and piano, they delivered the theatrical power-pop we needed to finish out the week right.
Keep your eyes peeled for the concert that will drop on Baeble in the future and until then check out more photos from the event
HERE. Also, be on the look out for more Bands + Brews concerts taking place this summer, we've got
a lot planned for 2018!
