Mac Demarco's new album This Old Dog comes out in a little over a month and a few weeks ago, the indie rock singer released a video performing the title track inside a dog grooming salon. Today, the Canadian-native revealed an official video for "This Old Dog" and it follows dog-masked men wandering around DeMarco's new home of Los Angeles.

Mac DeMarco directed the whole clip and it's as just as amazing and absurd as you'd expect it to be. Just a few normal guys - wearing wolfish-looking dog masks and sunglasses - cruising around LA's Chinatown. The trio admire a statue of Bruce Lee, caresses a plastic Winnie the Pooh, and looks extremely creepy while hanging out in public.

    DeMarco said about the clip:

"A devoted dog discovers the meaning of its own existence through the lives of the humans it teaches to laugh and love. Reincarnated as multiple canines over the course of five decades, the lovable pooch develops an unbreakable bond with a kindred spirit named Ethan. As the boy grows older and comes to a crossroad, the dog once again comes back into his life to remind him of his true self."

Which is literally the plot of the film A Dog's Purpose. This is one of the many reasons we love Mac DeMarco. This Old Dog will drop on May 5th.
