Phil Elverum's Mount Eerie is shaping up to have a big 2012, announcing last month that he will release two LPs this year, Clear Moon and Ocean Roar. This week, Mount Eerie released a track from the upcoming Clear Moon, a slowly building, characteristically ominous track titled "House Shape." The song employs Elverum's production talent to imply a lot underneath the surface, giving the impression of instruments hammering loudly in the distance.

Mount Eerie's fifth full length will be self-released by Elverum's own label, P.W. Elverum and Sun, on 5/22. The band is currently on tour in Europe, check out the tour dates after the stream of "House Shape."
