Neon Indian Continues To Get Weird

Last year's Vega Intl. Night School was one of our top 10 records of the year, and it showed a considerable growth in the craft and songwriting of Neon Indian (aka Alan Palomo). We also had the chance to interview him at the beginning of this year about the "Making Of" video for his instant classic music video cum short film, "Slumlord Rising." And, thankfully, Neon Indian is back with new material.

Neon Indian has a new video for "Techno Clique," and although it doesn't quite reach the same immediately iconic heights of the Nicolas Winding Refn-inspired video for "Slumlord Rising," it still has that glitched out, "coming down from a bad acid trip in the 1980s" visual aesthetic that Palomo has been cultivating for the last year.
