Baeble First Play: The Soaring Post Punk Of The Moth and The Flame

Last year, we had the pleasure of conducting a Q&A with LA post-punk/alt-rockers The Moth & the Flame about their fantastic video for "Young & Unafraid" (a video which wound up making our Top 10 of the year). I've been hoping to see anything new from the band for a while, and they've finally delivered with a stark and hypnotic video for their single, "Live While I Breathe."

We've got the exclusive premiere of the music video for "Live While I Breathe," and visually it recalls a fusion of Russian cinema legend, Andrei Tarkovsky, with American60s pop-art. That's a fancy way of saying it is visually ambitious and composed of subverted, distorted, and warped archetypal images. And the track itself is sure to trap you in its embrace with Brandon Robbins' soaring baritone invoking the best of Ian Curtis and Brandon Flowers.
