Say what you will about the originality of mumble rap, but the sub-genre's hottest stars Migos
sure do know how to flex their creativity, especially when it comes to their music videos. The video for "Stir Fry" was a B-martial arts homage dedicated to some serious Big Trouble in Little China
vibes, and now the trio is back with an artistic throwback for their song "Walk It Talk It" with Drake
Directed by Daps and Quavo, the video is a visual ode to Soul Train
, and appropriately, it opens with Jamie Foxx taking the role of the late Don Cornelius, albeit this time around as "Ron Delirious", and introducing the Migos decked out in full 70s outfits, regalia and of course, afros.
Drake also makes an appearance with some Michael Jackon-inspired Jheri curls and dance moves, and even breaks it down with Quavo for a bit on the dance floor. Quavo also shared a couple of behind-the-scenes photos in Insta, giving a higher-def look at the throwback outfits.
might not have gotten the hottest reception, but the Migos music video game is certified fire.
