James Murphy Supplies Ethereal Score To Latest Noah Baumbach Picture

I'm honestly surprised James Murphy hasn't scored a Noah Baumbach film before now. It seems as natural a fit as Spike Jonze working with Owen Pallett & Arcade Fire. Baumbach has become the cinematic master of hipster mid-life crisis malaise and James Murphy wrote "All My Friends" for LCD Soundsystem. Do the math. Baumbach's latest film, While We're Young, will be starring Baumbach regular Ben Stiller -- talk about reviving a dude's career -- and Naomi Watts, and Murphy has shared the track "We Used to Dance" from the upcoming score. I loved The Squid and the Whale and Sounds of Silver so clearly I'm primed for this movie.

(h/t to Indiewire for the premiere.)
