It turns out that "the Boss" is still Bruce Springsteen's nickname for a reason. At the age of 62, he's still relevant enough (having just released his seventeenth studio album, Wrecking Ball) to be chosen to deliver the keynote address at this year's SXSW Music Festival. Not only did he secure that honor, he managed to round up a veritable who's who of serious artistic talent to join him on stage for a rousing sing-along of Woody Guthrie's consistently misunderstood classic "This Land Is Your Land." Joined by Win and Will Butler as well as Regine Chassagne from Arcade Fire, Tom Morello, the Low Anthem, Alejandro Escovedo, and many others, Bruce closed his set with number proving even high-profile, serious musicians know how to have a good time. Did it strike anyone else as ironic that the very much Canadian Arcade Fire were on stage for this bit of iconic Americana?
