Stream: Frank Ocean

Apart from his beef with Don Henley and the rest of the Eagles for using the melody of "Hotel California" without anyone's permission, Frank Ocean has always come off like the member of the Odd Future crew with the most level head on his shoulder. There's a general lack of vicious sexual violence and vitriolic homophobia to his music which will always be the reason we can never fully get behind Odd Future even when they show sparks of brilliance. New tracks from OF Tape: Vol. 2 keep leaking, and now we have Ocean's only solo track of the album, "White." It's a sparse and minimalist R&B number showcasing Ocean's silky smooth voice and his ambitious lyricism. We only wish the rest of Odd Future could evoke the same emotional reaction without having to react to shock tactics.

UPDATE: It looks like the link is down for the stream. If we are able to find a working stream, we'll get this back up and running.
