This Thursday, March 16th, Tibet House US will be celebrating their 30th anniversary as well as Philip Glass's 80th birthday with a benefit concert at Carnegie Hall in New York City. It will be a night of jaw-dropping art and once-in-a-lifetime collaborations, as the lineup includes Iggy Pop, Sufjan Stevens, Laurie Anderson, Alabama Shakes, Patti Smith, New Order's Bernard Sumner, Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman, Patti Smith, Tenzin Choegyal and Jesse Paris Smith, Scorchio Quartet, and Lavinia Meijer. Honorary chairpersons are Chuck Close, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Peter Sarsgaard, and Arden Wohl. The lineup was once again curated by acclaimed American Composer/Artistic Director Philip Glass who will, of course, be headlining the night.

Proceeds support the work of Tibet House US, a non-profit educational institution and cultural embassy founded in 1987 to ensure the survival of the unique Tibetan civilization. Ticket info HERE.
