Recently down at SXSW, Neurowear unveiled their latest badass nerd gadget, the Mico headphones, and we're both baffled and terrified. According to the robot voice in the Youtube video below, the swanky set reads brainwaves in order to determine a song that suits your current state of mind. For example, if you're tired, it'll play something energetic. The songs are selected from the App's database.
So a few things worry us about this telepathic technology:
- It's bullshit.
- It's aliens.
- It's robots controlled by aliens that eventually decide they've had enough with the aliens (and us).
- What if say...your brainwaves always instruct it to play Huey Lewis (potentially awesome, yet certainly dangerous)?
- What if the database doesn't contain any Huey Lewis?
- If you're in the mood to watch Night Court
, will it play the Night Court theme
You're move Neurowear...
