BAEBLE FIRST PLAY: 'Malibu 1992' by COIN

    Today, COIN is offering up another taste of their upcoming album, which is out this Spring. The Nashville band sure is bringing a lot of west coast vibes with this latest single, "Malibu." It's somber with a tinge of washed out, Beach Boys-inspired guitar and a relaxing drum machine. They have already released songs "Talk Too Much" and "I Don't Wanna Dance," which will also be included on their sophomore LP.

    "Four years ago, we recorded this song by ourselves. At 4AM, under flickering fluorescent light, we carelessly wrote. Then, we put it on the shelf," Chase Lawrence told Baeble. "It's strange how you can't tell how special something is until you revisit it. Maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's delusion. I've physically changed, but I think my 20 year old self had 'me' more figured out than I do even now. We put this song away for a later time. I guess it's now. Malibu 1992."
