Alan Palomo is a real nice guy, we've discovered. So we're pleased to hear about his presence at SXSW, as well as the news that he will (hopefully) put out a new record this year. The assumption/guess comes from the potential first single from that record, a new release that will hit the internet on 3/10.

2009's Pyschic Chasms put Neon Indian on the map, both as a tour-de-force of beat-writing and chillaxing with synthesizers. Complimenting his record was a performance at this years CMJ and an even more lauded double bill show with Toro Y Moi in December. 2010 could be a breakout year for the young musician, who first gained recognition for his work with Ghosthustler and performing at VEGA.

Check out Palomo at his labels showcase, Friday, March 19th at Club de Ville. It will feature performances from Ra Ra Riot, Theophilus London, Tanlines, Solid Gold, and of course, newest Green Label Sound signing Neon Indian (official SXSW badges only). -joe
