It's been three years since his last album Together/Apart, and Grieves has finally announced the release of its follow-up Winter & The Wolves, out March 25th. The record is co-produced by Grieves and B. Lewis, a San Francisco producer who seems to be contributing a new electronic spin. The Seattle rapper is starting us off with the release of the single "Shreds", a synth-heavy track perfect for those days you feel like kicking ass at the gym. Grieves' verses are full of taunts and instigation, and he's "bitin' on the bullet for strength," so by no means are we trying to get in his way. Winter & The Wolves sounds like it's going to be a great soundtrack to breaking free of this burdening winter season.
Winter & The Wolves is due out March 25th via Rhymesayers. Watch Grieves and Budo introduce themselves in Baeble's Guest Apartment session.
