Single Serving: Twin Peaks Release 'In The Morning, In The Evening'

    Twin Peaks are on a (rock and) roll. After releasing Wild Onion last Fall to some positive reviews, the band is back with "In The Morning (In The Evening)." The new song is slated to appear on an upcoming 7" this Spring.

    "In The Morning (In The Evening)" is killer. It showcases a variety of rock influences: folky acoustic guitars and electric guitars side by side, and background vocals reminiscent of the Beatles and the Beach Boys. In similar fashion, the music sounds cheerful and positive while the lyrics detail a troubled relationship. With lines like "In the morning when I tell you that it's over / In the evening got a back mark on my shoulder," the juxtaposition of text and sound is some real talk bliss.
