If you haven't been keeping up with James Corden's Carpool Karaoke, you've been missing out. He's had hilarious ride-alongs with big names such as Adele, Stevie Wonder, Justin Bieber, and his latest rendezvous is with Chris Martin of Coldplay. And as you might expect from the frontman of Coldplay, this one gives you one more reason to pick fun at the British "rock" band. Carpool Karaoke went all-out this time by setting up a storyline of James Corden picking up a hitchhiking Chris Martin to bring him to San Francisco (Coldplay is set to play at the Super Bowl game this weekend).
Throughout the video, the British duo jump into a thread of Coldplay's not-so-great recent songs including, "Paradise" and "Hymn for the World," even throwing in a few earlier releases like, "Yellow" and "When I Ruled the World." Besides James Corden vocally-dominating Chris Martin to his own songs, the best part was Chris Martin whipping out a toddler-sized keyboard to play a rendition of David Bowie's "Heroes." The video includes a pit-stop to buy some SF 49er beanies, spooning at a motel, and riding off on a tandem bicycle along the highway.
