FINALLY! Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn - aka Sylvan Esso
- have finally shared details about their long-awaited new album. It's called Now What
and we will be able to listen to it, on repeat, starting on April 28th. Last year, we heard "Radio" and "Kick Jump Twist" and to go with their album announcement, the North Carolina duo has released their latest single, "Die Young", in the form of a music video.
The video was filmed in California where Amelia Meath steals a police car from an officer played by Nick Sanborn. She takes it on a joyride through a glorious desert as the heavy electropop track plays as the soundtrack.
When explaining the album, Sylvan Esso says it "is both political and personal, and blurs the line between the two What Now
describes the inevitable low that comes after every high, fulfillment tempered by the knowledge that there is no clearly defined conclusion."
