The ever-fantastical Kishi Bashi took over Brooklyn's Masonic Temple late last week, showing off the string quintet he's been touring with of late. Once minor problems such as no heat (it was damn near zero degrees out) and a busted pipe leaking all over the stage were addressed, the rather dapper maestro appeared, along with his trusty collaborator Mike Savino (Tall Tall Trees), leading the quintet through a host of re-imagined material from 151a, Lighght and a slew of covers (Talking Heads' "This Must Be The Place", Beirut's "A Sunday Smile").

Have a look at some pics, the Set List, and our session with Kishi below.
