David Letterman welcomed the "Reno-owned" group, Bright Eyes (wait, aren't they from Omaha?!), on the Late Show, Thursday night. It turns out that Ole' Gramps Letterman is having trouble reading his teleprompter these days. Oberst and crew performed "Jejune Stars", off of their latest album, The People's Key.

Hey Bieber-holics (fellow Baeble wordsmith, Siobhan), check out the creator of that darling hairstyle. Behind the bangs, Oberst's emotional voice is one of the few that's better experienced live. "Jejune Stars", similar to the entire album, displays an enlightened poet (as seen in our review of The People's Key) The upbeat tempo is reminiscent of Oberst's work with Desaparecidos, and the story told is the artist's contemporary salutation of life's bewilderment.
