James Bay - "Wild Love (Acoustic Version)"
James Bay just came back with "Wild Love" along with a brand new image (he cut his hair). Fans are kind of freaking out that he left his acoustic guitar behind, but don't worry, because today he dropped an acoustic version of the single and it is beauuuuutiful.
Robert Delong ft. K.FLAY - "Favorite Color Is Blue"
This is instantly a Baeble favorite since we have an awesome session
with Robert Delong AND an awesome session
with K.FLAY. Uhhhh... Dream collab?
Hot Chip - "Need You Now"
Classic. I've been listening to a lot of Hot Chip lately because their music never fails to get me pumped up.
Post Malone ft. Ty Dolla $ign - "Psycho"
Post Malone. The stuff he's putting out right now is really refreshing, and I'm digging the latest cut he just dropped today.
Denzel Curry - "Zeltron 6 Billion (feat. Lil Ugly Mane)"
Lil Ugly Mane actually used to live pretty close to me when I went to school in North Carolina. I tried talking to him one night at a local bar and he wanted nothing to do with any talk about music, but later that night when he was good and drunk he excitedly told me in painstaking detail about all the land he had and how he planned to farm it. Also, this song slaps.
Post Animal - "Ralphie"
Honestly it must get pretty tiring listening to people talk about your band simply because one of the members was in Stranger Things,
but Post Animal has a lot more going for them than good hair and superstardom. This track is a confirmation of that.
The Apache Relay - "Katie Queen Of Tennessee"
I never gave them much of a listen when they were still around, and I don't know what has drawn me to The Apache Relay lately, but this track is perfectly twee indie-folk rock. It's like the soundtrack to having a crush and I love it.
X Ambassadors - "Don't Stay"
Sam Harris' falsetto gets me feeling some type of way. In "Don't Stay", X Ambassadors produce synthy beats and heavy percussion that instantly makes me want to get up and dance. While the lyrics express doubt and pain, the rhythm allows me to shake off any negative feelings.
Lucius - "Go Home"
I used to listen to Lucius all the time back in my college days. I didn't realize it had been so long since we'd had a session
with them, until we threw back to it
yesterday on the site. "Go Home" reminds me of a very sad time in my life, but when I listen to it now, I am able to respect what I felt then, and appreciate where I am now. Lucius is releasing their album, Nudes
on March 2nd and I truly cannot wait.
Tegan and Sara, CHVRCHES - "Call It Off"
I heard this song for the first time about a month ago through my Discover Weekly on Spotify and it immediately caught my attention. I could not figure out who the song was by. When I checked, I was embarrassed that I hadn't heard it before. CHVRCHES and Tegan and Sara deliver magical synthy production and dreamy vocals that will stop you in your tracks.
