We actually premiered Max Frost
's video for "Withdrawal
" back in 2015, and now we're proud to premiere his latest effort right here today. Entitled "Good Morning," the track is just as cheery as you'd expect it to be, with a gospel choir, a Pharrell-meets-Timberlake beat, and Frost quite literally chanting "good morning!"
at you. Not a bad way to wake up. The accompanying video is just as joyous as we see Frost pouring mimosas in a tour bus, dancing around with a marching band, and celebrating life.
Frost told Baeble, "The concept of this video started with the color scheme. Got the palate from a jacket I bought on tour last year. I sketched out the set ups for the various scenes (with help from a talented artist, since I can't draw to save my life). Having a hometown vibe was important, so we shot in Austin, and even got the local high school's marching band in it! It was the first time I made a music video where everything went to plan and turned out better than expected. It was just magic."
"Good Morning" will also fittingly soundtrack Pepsi's new commercial for bubly, their new line of flavored sparkling waters. The campaign is set to air during The Academy Awards on March 4th at 8:00pm EST. In addition to that, Frost is gearing up to release his debut full-length, which was executively produced by Michael "Fitz" Fitzpatrick of Fitz And The Tantrums
