Australia's Pond has released a visual for the opening track off of their upcoming album The Weather. With heavy synths and echo effects, the psychedelic punk group slowly crescendos in this song, getting more and more desperate about the threat of nuclear war. The video for this song is a collage of war, riot footage, and consumerism, giving us a sense that the band is predicting this will be the end of us. The song is a more eerie, contemplative turn for the young band. It will be interesting to see how this song sets the tone for The Weather, which is due out May 5th.

Pond will be embarking on a North American tour this spring in support of The Weather.
