After Nashville band The Apache Relay quietly called it quits, it wasn't over for the members. They all continued to make music and went on to start new projects, and one of those projects is Airpark
, the fantastic alternative pop/rock duo which consists of brothers Michael Ford, Jr. and Ben Ford, formed in 2016, one year after the split. Their young career is off to a good start - today we're premiering their latest track, "All The Time," which is minimalistic in instrumentation but most certainly does not lack that satisfying, rhythmic groove. The vocals are simple but the melody is commercial-ready and still has an edge. All of these features conjure up a sound that's reminiscent of Phoenix, which we don't mind.
The duo told Baeble, "The overall focus on groove and layered percussion in 'All The Time' are inspired by our recently discovered love of World music. We wanted to channel some of the same energy we found in songs from groups like Tinariwen but in our own way. Lyrically the concept is very simple...it's about unapologetic ambition."
