Timber Timbre plays spook-blues, the kind of folksy electric music that Vincent Price would enjoy. If their aesthetic is that of a wooded forest (as the name suggests), it's not the one from Bambi; it's a dark, scary den of shadows, salty thoughts, and sin. Taylor Kirk has managed to keep this up for three albums, and the fourth (based on the titular first single), won't be any different. The deliciously swampy Creep On Creepin' On gets a release via Arts & Crafts on 4/5. Hear the first single below (and download it), after you turn off the lights.
