The Walkmen's Walter Martin is scheduled to release his debut solo record We're All Young Together on May 13th, and from the looks of it, he won't be doing it all by his lonesome. The album's first single, "Sing to Me", is a heartwarming love exchange between Martin and female counterpart Karen O. The record's additional tracks feature appearances by Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Matt Berninger (The National), Alec Ounsworth (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah), Kat Edmonson, and Hamilton Leithauser and Matt Barrick of The Walkmen.

The record was conceived shortly after Martin's wife became pregnant with their first child. He said in a statement, "It wasn't that I wanted to write songs to suit my new situation as a parent, it was more that parenthood made relevant writing the kind of songs I've always loved most."

Hear the effervescent love chat "Sing to Me" below.

We're All Young Together is due out May 13th on Family Jukebox.
