Whether we like to admit it or not, we all really just want a lot of money. Like Kendrick Lamar once said, "Money trees is the perfect place for shade," and that is true. Sure, we might focus on the ones we love and more meaningful things in attempt to appear not shallow on the outside, but let's just say it: we're all shallow. And in her new single "Money," Caroline Rose
is owning up to it.
"I didn't do it for the sex, didn't do it for the law, I did it for the money!" the singer/producer repeats over and over again over fuzzy, epic guitars and clashing drums. It's a rock 'n' roll tune that's sure to get you amped up as you embrace the truth.
"Money" is the lead single off of Rose's forthcoming album LONER,
out February 23rd via New West. The album covers a bunch of relatable topics, from money to loneliness to pregnancy and misogyny. If that's not enough to sell you, I don't know what is!
Rose is also heading on tour, see dates here
