Calypso-pop outfit, and one of our CMJ favorites, Jonquil recently announced that their next full length album, Point Of Go, will drop on 3/5. Now, the boys, from Oxford have dropped the first single from the upcoming album to give us a sense of what to expect.

"It's My Part" is heavy on the rhythm. The percussion is layered with the bass adding the accent marks that make Jonquil a band that everyone can groove to. The jumpy guitar riffs in the verse, sure to be ingrained in your mind after a listen, give the track it's driving force without overshadowing the subdued nature of the piano in the chorus. Front man Hugo Manuel shows his vast range, running the gamut from high falsetto to low croon, all while never muddling a word. Stream "It's My Part" below.
