LA-based electronic trio Cheat Codes
are on the verge of blowing up - with over half a billion streams on Spotify, they've also played multiple major music festivals like Voodoo, Firefly, and Billboard's Hot 100. One of their latest tracks "Queen Elizabeth" transports the listener to an island with tropical beats, a gorgeous drop, and calming vocals. A perfect way to steer clear of those winter blues... Since the band is made up of enthusiastic music lovers, we thought we'd ask them about which new artists they're most excited to watch grow in 2017, so they curated a playlist just for us along with a brief explanation of each song choice. Listen below!
Phil Good - "Sleeping In"
New indie pop artist on the rise! Look out for this guy!
Oliver Heldens - "Good Life"
This song is so catchy and it's different than his usual track.
Shaun Frank - "Let You Get Away"
Perfect mix of trap, house, and pop.
Pentatonix - "Hallelujah"
They just dropped their new Christmas album and it's amazing! So get yourself in the holiday spirit already!
Yellow Claw - "Love and War"
The drop is insane, somehow this is still a pop song though. Love it.
PnB Rock - "Selfish"
I think everyone can relate to wanting a girl all to yourself..
Steve Void & No Mondays - "Chemistry (feat. Clara Mae)"
DJ out of Holland, mixes catchy vocals with pop house track, definitely one to look out for!
