As the holiday craze of 2013 comes to a close, we prepare for the next cycle of celebrations. The first big one of 2014, albeit pointless, will be Valentine's Day. Unlike other holidays, this one lacks a musical tradition. As bizarre as it might sound, the world renowned coffee peddler—Starbucks—has created its own annual custom by releasing Sweethearts, a compilation album of contemporary acts covering classic love tunes. The forthcoming, Sweethearts 2014, will be their fifth, and comes packed with notable names and titles. We previously heard the album's opening track, Jim James' cover of Bob Marley's "Turn the Lights Down Low", and today we're exposed to its latest romantic doozy: John Lennon's "Love" performed by Beck. Listen below.
