You may not have known this, but Mountain Dew (yes, that's right, the soft drink company) has had its own musical label since 2008. Yup, that's right: the good folks at the world's "edgiest" soft-drink have been sponsoring and pumping out music for the better part of a decade, now, under the Green Label Sound
Artists looking for corporate sponsorship should definitely up and take notice, though, as the label's just gone and announced that they're holding an open call
open to "any aspiring musicians from pop, rock, hip-hop and other genres." Sponsorship here means a $50,000 grant to produce an album, a performance at SXSW 2015, oversight assistance from producer/remixer RAC, a music video and promotions on Soundcloud.
