Make sure to subscribe to Baeble Music's 'IN OUR EARS' Spotify playlist for new music every Friday.

    A$AP Ferg - "The Mattress"

There are songs that slap, and then there are songs that SLAP. This is a song that SLAPS Expect Ferg and the rest of the A$AP Mob to continue to impress in 2018.

Caribou - "Can't Do Without You"

Have fun having no one to kiss when the ball drops. Maybe play this and water down your drink with your tears.

Broken Social Scene - "Anthems For A Seventeen-Year-Old Girl"

The legendary indie-alt collective has a catalogue of great songs miles long but they really nailed it with this one. Like its namesake, the track is anthemic as all get out, and utterly cathartic.

    Baths - "Extrasolar"

If you haven't checked out Baths new album Romaplasm yet, you're missing. It's a beautiful medley of artistic synth work and chiptune-inspired tracks, and "Extrasolar" is a bouncing, bubbly gem.

Britney Spears - "Till The World Ends"

You could have played this track for every day of 2017 and it would have felt appropriate. It's an anthemic bop, and a good one to ring in the new year with.

    Balance and Composure - "Reflection"

Because every good playlist needs a little rock n' roll punch. These guys have been mainstays of the alt-rock scene for the last ten years, and unfortunately they're calling it quits soon. Be sure to catch them live before they're gone, and then listen to this track in memory of them.

    Draa - "Losing My Charm"

I like the direction shoegaze/post-punk is heading in. Definitely check out Draa if you're a fan of either.

    Pinback - "Non Photo-Blue"

A moody, rolling alt-rock classic by a band that's been actually pushing the alt-rock genre to higher grounds since they've been around.

    Lil Pump - "Gucci Gang"

You either love it or hate it, but if you're not going to ring in the new year with Britney Spears, the next best option is chanting "gucci gang" as the ball drops.
