Grimes Comes Clean On Her Stage Name

    If you want to make it in music, there is nothing more important than having a catchy stage name that will stick. While we've all been under the impression that experimental synth-pop artist Grimes (born Claire Boucher) adopted her stage persona from experimental artist Ken Grimes and The Simpsons character Frank Grimes, a series of tweets on Saturday tell a different story.

    "On myspace ur genre could be grime and u could have 3 genres so i was plural grime, b4 knowing what grime was, she revealed. I was very please to discover that i actually loved grime music.

    Turns out, Grimes was, originally too embarrassed to cop to MySpace's helping hand in making her a memorable name in the indie underground.
