When Bleachers announced their spring 2015 tour with Night Terrors of 1927, we knew they had to be something special, and we were right. They just dropped the video for their new single, When You Were Mine ft. Tegan and Sara, which is nothing short of an infectious delivery of synth drenched vocals and deep popping beats.
We had the opportunity to throw our Cool Buzz Q&A at the Brooklyn based band, and front man, Jarrod Gorbel took the reigns to answer everything: from whose opinion of his music matters most to what he hates at Dunkin Donuts.
Check it out below.

How many night terrors have you actually experienced?
Too many to count. My night terrors are triggered by anxiety, worry and fear piling up in my unconscious. I tend to collect the stress throughout the day and then while I sleep they take the form of elaborate dreamy terrors. Don't we all though?
What band or musician would you like to spend a day with? What would you want to do aside from playing music with them?
Adele: she seems really cool and funny. Maybe we could go people watching at the park, somewhere she can get away from being recognized; we can end the day spooning.
What song or album can immediately transport you to another time?
Pearl Jam Vs.: suddenly Im driving on the New York State Thruway headed North out of the city. Its Autumn and the trees look amazing.
What did you learn from Tegan and Sara during your collaboration with them? What impression did they leave on you?
They are both insanely musically talented and also very business savvy. Most of all, they have an honest and hilarious perception of the reality and insanity of the entire music industry and lifestyle. They just reinforce the concept to never take yourself too seriously.
Do you feel like you've made it? Is there something that needs to happen (or has happened) in your career in order for you to feel like you've reached your goal?
The term "made it" becomes further and further from a realistic term for me. I'll never be satisfied and will always want to attain more and reach higher levels. I do feel extremely lucky to have the opportunities we have. Maybe Ill feel we've "made it" when I can stop worrying about running out of money.
What do you want people to say when they leave a NTO1927 show?
Holy shit, I had to pee the whole time but was so into it I held it in. Or, "That one song made want to dance but that other one made me want to cry."
What is a song you wish you penned?
Piano Man by Billy Joel
What is the last concert you paid to go to? Was it worth the money spent?
FKA twigs: it was worth it alone on the people watching, the crowd was futuristic in its crazy stylings.
What's the last thing you think about before bed and what's the first thing you think when you wake up?
I read every night to help me pass out. Otherwise I start to think about reality and I can never fall asleep. So whatever is happening in that book at that time is what I'm thinking about before bed. When I wake up, my dog is licking my face. So typically when I wake, I'm thinking about my dog and the fact that he has to go pee more then I do.
Whose opinion matters most when it comes to your music (aside from yourselves)?
Young people of the world.
How do you feel about Dunkin Donuts?
I love a nice chocolate glazed or a blueberry cake donut, but hate I the coffee.
