Alright. This is the Weeknd that we haven't heard from all year. Ever since The Weeknd teamed up with mega-producer Max Martin, he's experienced nothing but enormous mainstream commercial success...at the cost of his subversive edge that made so many fans flock to him when "The Morning" and "Wicked Games" had first started popping up all over the blogosphere. His music has become so clean and polished; that's not necessarily a criticism, but it's a far cry from the drug-fused debauchery you've come to expect from the Canadian figurehead of New R&B. But with the new track from Canadian rapper Belly that features the Weeknd (though you hear way more of the the Weeknd than Belly), we hear that version of the Weeknd which feels like he's been gone for so long.
