Fiona Apple made an appearance at the Fonda Theater this week and fully displayed her playful, sassy attitude. It was her first show in more than three years at LA's Fonda Theater and her return was definitely towards a good cause. It was part of a benefit to raise money for the legal fees faced by protestors who fought to reroute the Dakota Access pipeline at Standing Rock in North Dakota - an event organized by TV On The Radio's Kyp Malone.

The benefit also included performances from the rest of Tv On The Radio, Sky Ferreira, Devendra Banhart, Moses Sumney, and much more.

Fiona Apple debuted never-before-heard tracks and covered 1978's "Money Changes Everything" by the Brains (and later sung by Cyndi Lauper in 1984). Apple also performed and anti-Trump parody of "The Christmas Song: where she gave Mr. Trump a huge "F*CK YOU".
