Album Review: The Lone Bellow

    Brooklyn-based trio The Lone Bellow's self-entitled debut album came out earlier this year through Descendant Records and it was one of the purest forms of emotion we've heard in quite some time. The combined power created by lead singer Zach Williams, mandolin playing Kanene Pipkin and guitarist Brian Elmquist make the eleven tracks both stirring and heart-wrenching. We were able to capture The Lone Bellow's spirit live last month when they played at an impromptu, live session in Washington Square Park, where they rightfully generated a captivated crowd in the city's mix of mayhem.
