Throughout the past month, we've been hit with news about The Killers' new album Battle Born on a weekly basis. The latest bit involves a Johnny Depp-less Tim Burton directing the music video for "Here With Me," which appears to be an eerie (of course) remake (also of course) of the 1987 classic Mannequin; this time starring Winona Ryder (not surprised).

According to The Killers' website, the video was shot in Blackpool, UK, aka the dreariest, most Tim Burton-esque place on earth. He noted:

"The first time I saw The Killers perform live was in Blackpool, UK shortly after completing work on our first collaboration, the music video for 'Bones,'" the director wrote. "When I heard the song 'Here With Me' I remembered seeing a wax figure of Winona in Louis Tussaud's Waxworks in Blackpool. The concept of the video is inspired by the 1935 film Mad Love, starring Peter Lorre, as well as the works of Mario Bava."

    Woah, we were way off!
