is one of the rising stars of Chicago rap so it only made a bit of sense when the Windy City's own Kanye
West decided to associate himself with the kid by covering Keef's breakout "I Don't Like." Two years later Yeezus is doing the rising star another favor and backing him on his newest album Nobody
(due out tomorrow) and providing the backing vocals to the eponymous single from the same album. Maybe he'll do him another favor and help Keef out now that he's been kicked from Interscope and has been forced to self-release his work.
Or maybe he won't, if the lyrics to "Nobody," full of boasts about Keef's bank account and wealth (What's in my house? / 7,000 square feet / My bank account / I swear there's no telling") are any indication. He might want to ask for a little bit more help than backing vocals on the tracks, though, since, as a listen to "Nobody" reveals, all Keef seems to be able to muster are lackluster autotune mumbles and some incongruous flutes and twittering. It sounds unfinished, honestly.
