Well, it's officially winter here and I can't help but daydream about warmer weather and pretty flowers that will soon bloom. Speaking of which, If you're anything like me and enjoy pretty flowers and just about anything hippie like, you'll definitely enjoy these guys. Who are the guys I'm referring to, you ask? None other than Magic Giant
Their single "Set On Fire" sounds like a more folky Walk the Moon. If you're familiar with Walk the Moon, you'll hear similarities in their indie rock, upbeat sounds. Unlike Walk the Moon though, Magic Giant has more of an indie folk edge, incorporating cello, banjo, viola, and harmonica amongst other instruments which helps to set them apart. Their songs radiate positivity, good vibes, and invite you to sing along.
In our latest Baeble NEXT Session with the band you can catch a more stripped down version of their songs from their debut album, In The Wind
. They speak to us about how they recorded most of the album literally in the wild while touring the US, getting their band back together thanks to a festival promoter, and much more. You'll totally enjoy their down to earth vibes and catchy tunes!
If you're in the NYC area, you can catch them at The Bowery Ballroom on February 15, 2018.
