Single Serving: Sleeper Agent's Private Apocalypse Never Sounded So Pleasant

For most of the country, it's cold out there. So today's Single Serving hopefully provides a little extra winter warmth with twinkly, kaleidoscopic, summer rays of pop. Sleeper Agent are prepping their new album for an early 2014 release and are rolling out a bit of a different sound with their carefree, clap your hands kind of single, "Waves". As chipper as it all sounds, the sentiment at the core of the song is a bit more dour, capturing a feeling of what frontman Tony Smith calls the feeling of "a private apocalypse - everything around you crumbling to nothing. It's a really fantastic dichotomy." Indeed. Have a listen and keep your ears pricked for more news on the upcoming album.
