Electro dream-pop outfit Twin Sister have made a name for themselves with spacey musical landscapes and trippy videos. Recently, however, the band recorded an in-studio performance with Yours Truly, a site dedicated to reimagining music videos to showcase more stripped down, intimate performances. Stripped down and intimate is exactly what we get from Twin Sister in their Yours Truly performance of "Stop."

We find the band in the studio, and after a few hastily scribbled notes, knob fiddling, and some light keyboards, the band launches into "Stop." They play casually, letting the groove of the song take main stage, recalling something more from the 1970s than 2011. The effect heavy synths and bass carry the song while the harmonies serve as the sprinkles on top. But the great thing about Twin Sister is that they never get too sugary, instead opting for the perfect blend of sweet and savory. Watch their balanced performance of "Stop" below.
