The Thermals Created a Monster of a Video Game

Portland-based pop punk icons The Thermals, who summoned a call to arms earlier this year in their sixth studio album/Saddle Creek debut, Desperate Ground, are closing 2013 in the most honorable fashion–with a retro video game. To go along with the album's track "The Sword By My Side" Hutch, Kathy, and Westin (and Slouch Couch Game Studio) have provided a classic Helicopter-esque video game. Unlike the original, in The Thermals' edition you're a bad-ass, flying lady with a butchering sword of blue fire.
