, you learned from her tutorial how to properly operate a record player, and you bought the artfully designed 10". You win. Poor brats: St. Vincent's two new songs, "Pieta," and "Sparrow" have surfaced online.
Both tracks are steeped in HD religious imagery. On the A-side is "Pieta," a hymnal spread over an afro-funk beat that opens on a lyric act of questionable holiness: "baptized in the shallow end of a holiday inn." The B-side, "Sparrow," is a darker quest, distorted, and sonically familiar to St. Vincent's phenomenally strange self-titled LP
