Get a taste of the far-reaches of the Olympic Peninsula with this new black and white music video from Jarrod Paul Bramson and Emily Madden, known collectively as Solvents. The new band out of Washington state captures the essence of their little town with a series of portrait-like shots of them wandering and recording.
Solvents was formed after a young, restless Bramson finally settled in Washington and began a relationship, both musical and romantic, with Madden. After some West-coast gigging with the likes of Kimya Dawson and Karl Blau, the pair added Sasha Landis on drums. The brief glimpses of the band at the dials presumably has something to do with their new album Forgive Yr Blood, which came out this week on Bee Resin Records. It's the culmination of their decision to keep their recorded life out of the mainstream and limited to their locale, despite much acclaim from the lucky few who've experienced the band over the past few years. -joe puglisi
