1. Taylor Swift has been threatening sites who post her track list.
Everyone seems to be surprised, but I'm not. Trying to shut down the press just two days before her album drops -- isn't that like, the whole concept of the album? I think it fits Taylor
's aesthetic pretty well.
Apparently, according to Perez Hilton, some dude posted a photo of the track list for Reputation
and then a bunch of other sites started reposting it along with the album artwork. I mean, leaks are pretty common, but it's not like anyone even leaked the actual music -- just the tracks. With Taylor being… very Taylor… of course her lawyers pounced on the opportunity to send cease and desist letters to anyone who posted or retweeted it. Her lawyers must make SO much money with the workload T. Swift and her label provides.
A bunch of blogs are pissed:
Here's Perez Hilton ranting about it, too:
Here's the best part: after T. Swift took down everyone's copies, she posted her own. I guess she just wanted to beat them to the punch?
After pissing off the ACLU for trying to silence a critic and now this, T. Swift is really creating even more beef with the press. More than ever.
2. Sia gave her fans a picture of her naked butt.
Apparently some creep was trying to sell nude photos of Sia
, saying, "if you make the purchase it will be unblurred and you will receive an additional 14 images." So you know what the super star did? She released the photo of her bare bottom herself. FOR FREE. Merry Christmas, betch.
Along with the photo, she said, "Someone is apparently trying to sell naked photos of me to my fans. Save your money, here it is for free. Everyday is Christmas!" If you wish to see the photo and tweet (we know you do), you can go here
Sia has gone proactive after someone allegedly tried to sell her naked photos. The "Chandelier" singer posted one of the photos on Twitter Monday night, a shot from behind that shows her fully nude.
The Australian singer, best known for an oversized, multicolored wig, routinely hides in public and even on stage.
It's funny, we've gone from not seeing much of Sia to… seeing too
I hate to be cynical here, but I can't help but think this is all one big strategic ploy to promote her new album Everyday Is Christmas
(out next week!). I wasn't going to buy the album before, but now that I've seen Sia's unclothed behind, I just might!
3. Mariah Carey is being sued by a bodyguard for allegedly abusing the crap outta him.
And speaking of Christmas (it's November, we are allowed to talk about Christmas now), Christmas Queen Mariah Carey
might be even creepier than Santa Claus. (I mean really, why do we sit on some random, bearded dude's lap once a year and ask for toys?)
says Mariah's former security guard, Michael Anello and his lawyers have "prepared a draft of a lawsuit, claiming his company worked for Mariah from June 2015 to May 2017 and got stiffed on the balance to the tune of $221,329.51. Anello claims he was promised another 2 years which would add $511,000 to the tab." That is $732,329.51 total. DAMN.
It gets worse though. Apparently the security guard, who is white, was also continuously called a Nazi and a skinhead by Mariah - apparently she made it known that she "wanted to be surrounded with black guys, not white people."
...There's more. Anello also claims that he was sexually harassed by Mariah, who one time asked him to come to her room to move her luggage, and when he got there, she was wearing a see-through, open negligee. He tried to leave but she basically said "nah boi, come get dis luggage." She also committed "sexual acts with the intent that they be viewed by Anello."
TMZ says that Mariah's people are paying certain invoices, but Anello is not happy with the amount.
I feel like Mariah is ruining my childhood. This is like finding out Po from Teletubbies went into lesbian porn
all over again.
Well, if Mariah is trying to take away Xmas, at least Sia is bringing it back?
